Cracks in the paintwork

Cracked paintwork and wills? How are they related you ask? Ever since I started practice as a solicitor I have referred to painting. People always ask how much for a Will. I have always said that an estimate for a Will is the same as quoting for a house to be painted - you need to know how big the house is, if the old paint needs to be stripped back, what sort of paint do you want to be applied? If you pay for a cheap paint job, you will end up with cracks in the paintwork. If you get the right person for your job, someone who wouldn't put their name to shoddy work, you will get a result that doesn't have cracks. It's the same with estate planning - I would never want to put my name to something that results in cracks in your estate planning (your death planning (wills etc) and life planning - EPOAs).
